How to Make This Hanukkah Craft
Choose yellow and orange paper for the flames. Choose how big you want the flames to be and then trace 2 teardrop shapes on the yellow paper. Cut out the traced shape and set aside. Next, trace 2 smaller teardrops on the yellow paper and cut them out as well. Finally, trace 2 teardrop shapes on the orange paper, smaller than the last yellow ones, and cut them out.
Take all 3 pairs of the teardrops and fold them in half lengthwise.
Take any 2 of the folded teardrops and glue them side by side along the bottom of the ends that are closed.
Next, take the smallest teardrop and put it on the medium teardrop and then attach that to the big one. This has completed the 3D flame.
Do these same steps to make 8 more of the flames. For the other flames, you can use 2 layers of the teardrop shapes.
Take a piece of what paper and cut 9 strips from any colored paper that you want for the candles
Take the 9 stripes that you’ve just cut out and attache them to the white paper. Arrange them nicely. There is one big candle right in the middle with the sides having 4 on each side.
Put the flames on the very top of each of the candles.
Next, cut out the 9 candles from the papercraft. Just cut around the border and not in-between each candle.
Choose a different colored paper for the candle holder and trace it. Then, cut it out.
Decorate it using glitter or other items.
Next, attach the candles to the top of the candle holder.
